Disney Gift Card Deal: How I Stacked Chase Freedom Unlimited, Paze + Rakuten to Earn 10x Ultimate Rewards Points
If you’re searching for a Disney gift card deal, this isn’t your typical discount or promo run. Recently, Chase rolled out a promotion that lets eligible cardholders earn 10x additional Ultimate Rewards points when checking out with Paze at participating retailers. Combined with cash back from Rakuten, this is one of the most powerful Disney gift card stack opportunities I’ve seen in a while. Here’s how I earned more than $45 in rewards on a single $250 Disney gift card purchase, and how you can do the same. But first, let’s talk about Paze.

Paze is one of the newer digital wallet options on the market. Like PayPal or Apple Pay, it allows you to securely check out online without repeatedly entering your card information.

Through December 31, 2026, eligible Chase cardholders can earn an additional 10x Ultimate Rewards points when using Paze at participating merchants.
One thing I especially like about this promotion is that it isn’t a one-and-done deal. Chase allows you to earn 10x bonus points on up to $1,500 in combined purchases each month, which translates to as many as 15,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points monthly.
If you’re gradually building your Disney vacation fund, you don’t have to buy all your Disney gift cards at once. You can spread out purchases and continue stacking rewards through December 31, 2026. Since the 10x bonus points are earned on top of your regular credit card rewards, savvy travelers can stack multiple programs together to supercharge their earnings.
How I Turned a Newegg Purchase Into a Disney Gift Card Deal
Here’s exactly how I stacked multiple rewards on one $250 Disney Gift Card purchase.
Step 1: Link Your Chase Cards to Paze
Open the Chase app and under “More” find “Digital Wallets.”
Select “Paze” and choose which cards to link. You can link multiple credit cards.
Activate your Paze wallet to make online purchase with your Chase cards.
Good news: You only need to set up Paze once. After linking your Chase cards, you’re ready to use Paze at participating retailers.
Step 2: Start With Rakuten
Many people think of Newegg as an electronics retailer, but they also sell gift cards, including Disney gift cards.
But instead of going directly to Newegg, I first clicked through Rakuten, which was offering 1% cash back. This added an extra layer of rewards before I even started shopping.

Step 3: Check Out Using Paze
I added a $250 Disney Gift Card to my cart and headed to checkout.
At checkout, I selected Paze and used my Chase Freedom Unlimited card.
Because Newegg is a participating Paze merchant, I qualified for Chase’s limited-time 10x bonus on Ultimate Rewards points.
Here’s What I Earned
On a single $250 purchase, I earned:
- 2,500 bonus Ultimate Rewards points from Paze (10x)
- 375 Ultimate Rewards points from Chase Freedom Unlimited (1.5x)
- $2.50 cash back from Rakuten
Total earned: 2,875 Ultimate Rewards points plus $2.50 cash back.
Valuing Ultimate Rewards points at 1.5 cents each, that’s approximately $45.63 in rewards on a $250 Disney Gift Card purchase.
