If you’re debating between an off-site hotel and staying on Disney property, this is one splurge that pays for itself in convenience.
Why staying on Disney property is worth it:
- 30 Minutes early theme park entry (a game-changer for popular rides)
- Complimentary Disney transportation (buses, boats, Skyliner access)
- You’re fully immersed in the Disney bubble
Being able to head back to your resort for a nap or pool break, and then return to the parks refreshed is priceless.
If you can swing it, staying at a Skyliner access resort is absolutely worth it.
For moderate Disney resorts with Skyliner access, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a standout.

I’ve found that park hopper is especially worth it if you’re staying 5+ days and want dining flexibility across the parks. With park hopper, we can easily spend the day at Animal Kingdom, and then pop over to Magic Kingdom for the evening Happily Ever After firework show.

Located throughout the parks, Disney Springs, and some resorts, grab iced coffee, teas, and signature frozen drinks mid-day to cool down and stay energized.
Personally, I’m a big fan of the giant glazed donuts. Yummy!
4. Souvenirs You’ll Actually Use
Skip the random trinkets and opt for keepsakes you’ll enjoy long after your trip.
